EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO LIFE...! IS IT LIKE THIS WAY?

THIS IS HOW OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN DO, BEFORE THEY ENTER THE CLASS!

IS THIS MODERN OR 21Century's EDUCATION?

A Modern Definition of "EDUCATION":

Education is the "KEY" (?...!?) to "LIFE" (?...!?)

A young school boy with a school girl were caught having an extreme fun play called "Modern Education". 

This is a very big challenging agenda to Parents who always support a modern type of education by allowing or agreeing watching their children adapt unusual habits when at home or away. Parents takes charge of paying a lot of money to send a child to school, but a negative response from children, like the above picture, gives a bad impression that, "MANY OF SCHOOL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18YRS, ARE ENGAGING IN THIS KIND OF EDUCATION".

This is a challenge to parents who are quite sure that their children are at school to learn or play the above kind of play. Let's THINK, DISCUSS AND ACT"...!

It all starts by forbidden and old cultures and traditions like the above picture when some young girls in Swaziland were being checked of "smartness", I can't even get a good explanation of how to call it; before a King (Mswati III) selects a wife in addition to his 14 wives.

So, it can not be a strange thing for a girl to learn how to do it better in school before she is taken by the King. But, Don't quote me, I'm just joking. But that's the way it is.

I can't even imagine if they used protective measures like "condom" or any other, because I'm sure they were in a hurry to class.

BIG AGENDA AND CHALLENGE

Are there enough encouragement, guidelines and long term plans in providing education initiative to assist in ensuring that new generations of Tanzanians in our schools across the country get access to HIV, sexuality and life skills education through extracurricular materials? 

I'm sure some people are not aware of an important things, this issue is mostly concerned with Parents and Teachers... 

"The Ministry issued its guidelines for HIV/AIDS and life skills education in secondary schools in the year 2006, but they forgot to issue those things to primary schools. The Guidelines also encourages extra curriculum components, including peer education and establishment of school counseling and HIV/AIDS education committees. Students are encouraged to involve themselves in activities such as Clubs, Peer Education, Drama, Debates and Sports etc."

Every young person has the right to HIV/AIDS and sexuality education, but the lack of materials, and trained teachers make this education a challenge. The Ministry appreciates the efforts of Femina HIP to produce materials (Femina Magazine) that help students and teachers to facilitate the HIV/AIDS, sexuality and life skills education in secondary and primary schools.

As we are now campaigning build enough Dormitories in certain schools for young school girls who suffer the same issue I'm talking (HIV/AIDS, Unplanned Pregnancies etc.); We must aim a bit far enough to support this effort in reaching every school (secondary and primary) in the country to ensure that young generation receives comprehensive education an healthy lifestyles. 

THINK GLOBALLY, BUT ACT LOCALLY...!!!
