Officially known as the costume institute gala, the Met ball is a yearly event that celebrates the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibition. 

Always hosted by Vogue, the magazine synonymous with high fashion at it's finest, it is considered to be the World's foremost fashion event. Attendees at the event include the creme de la creme of the fashion, finance, business and entertainment world who ordinarily wear the finest of what fashion has to offer but up the ante for this particular event.

South African president Jacob Zuma is a very busy man! He married his 4th wife Bongi Ngema on april 20th 2012. 
Bongi and Mr Zuma already had a son together before their traditional marriage. She is joining the president's harem as his 4th wife. This ceremony brings the number of the president's marriages to a total of six:-

1. Sizakele Khumalo Zuma  - married in 1973
2. Nonpumelelo Ntuli Zuma  - married in 2008
3. Tobeka Madiba Zuma      - married in 2010
4. Bongi Ngema Zuma          - married in 2012

5. Previous wife Kate Mantsho Zuma committed suicide in 2000.

6. He divorced another wife Nkosazana Dlamini, who is currently South Africa's Home affairs minister. (she must have been super at running his home when they were married).

Oops, I forgot to add, he had sex with a HIV positive woman in 2005 without wearing a condom, she claimed he raped her, he said it was consensual. 

I hope he got tested!
