*“I had a lot of fun,” said Judith Hill, Michael Jackson backup singer and protégé’ (“This Is It”) about her experience as a contestant on the fourth season of NBC’s “The Voice”. “It was a great experience. I was able to explore my artistry week after week. You discover who you are…and I met a lot of people.”
Judith Hill most known for her duet with Michael Jackson on “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” which she performed with him on stage for his final performance seen on “This Is It.” On Monday, November 4, 2013 Judith will bring her amazing voice and her band to Ram’s Head Live in Annapolis Maryland.
“I’m bringing my band, their sound is awesome,” she pointed out about her upcoming show. “I will be performing original music…ballads and Inspirationals. It’s going to be fun.”
Hill said her songs’ lyrics are about never giving up and to look at the beautiful things around us. That she wants to encourage people, “especially around this time of the year,” she said.
A Los Angeles native, Judith Hill appears in the film 20 Feet From Stardom, about backup singers that are seen behind some of the greatest musicians in the 21st century. She also is featured on Christina Aguilera’s single “What a Girl Wants” and scored Spike Lee’s Red Hook Summer film’s soundtrack.
