It's Just this much easy... "Collect a gang mob of hooligans in the town, mobilize them, give them a story, instruct them how to say and riot when you will be recording, dress them up to fit your requirements, then Record them."
After all have been done, PAY THEM.
If you don't pay them they will turn to you and play another game... Because those are not REAL people in need, they are just Framed to fulfil some people's needs.
So, Beware of Disinformation - kind of a play scene.
It's exactly the same on france2 or 3 or M6. Even LCI and BFMTV use tricks like this one. You just have to use multiple sources (internet, radio, newspaper, foreign news) and then choose what to believe in all this mess.
But why the fuck would TF1 make people believe that lots of people are protesting? because they have no highlights in the news this day, you know because it's not like people are dying everywhere in the world. Or because it serves the cause of some politician they're fond of, or because they hope these news will hide something bigger, like unemployment these days in France. Any of those.
True that our news channels are far from being perfect, but I spent several months in the US and in Canada and honestly it's WAY WORSE than what we have ! Our TV is still one of the less stupid I think... Quite scary for the world... "Listen , I just came to France , and your TV is just horrible , your show are not worse than the american's , but , shit , they are challengers for the prize of stupidest TV on earth"
Still can't beat Japan TV channels...
The police said, "There are less than 100 peoples here" This man (Mr Mélenchon) says, "There are 1,000,000 peoples here". So, you need a lot more than that to prove your point.
Some declared... "I don't really like him. If 'ricains discover him, he's gonna be the new french allegoria of grumpy french guy. It's like he's always mad at something, he shouts. Have you ever seen him smiling ?! The picture made me laugh because everybody do that, but it's him people made fun of".
Some people defended Melenchon, Once again, stop judging from what 2 pictures show. It was 2 hours before the true meeting organized. And it wasn't this guy (Melenchon) who asked for people behind him it was TF1 and only TF1. Some douchebag saw that and took the picture saying "Oh look desinformation again !!!" Stop being stupid guys you're more than that. Check by yourselves if you d'ont believe me. Farewell.
Not saying this is or is not the case, but in his defence I can imagine this segment was filmed and only aired IF the protest got bigger than n people. Just like in traditional media it's normal to write articles just in case a certain thing happens, even including pictures and stuff.
The thing is, it was filmed as you say websitebouwer, but the film was still aired whereas the protest didn't get much bigger than that, maybe 1000 people instead of 100 (and 1000 is nothing for a protest in Paris). It was still a meaningless event presented as a meaningful one...
Oh, I thought it was "TV news" and not "the today news as we want them, hey! Not enough light here, more blood there, call James Cameron, our director is bad we lost audience last night". And you dare ask why I subscribed to Mediapart? Because they organized a group of people just enough to fill the camera FOV but there was no actual crowd protesting/whatever on the streets.
Am I the only one who sees the crowd behind the trees? Because the TV try to make it feels like there's thousand of people while there are at least 50. The scene was set up to look like there was a massive protest. In fact, there are only a few people strategically placed behind the reporter.

An Endless Battle, ....... Lepen senior was the evil twin of Mad-Eye Moody, and his daughter has a smile that say "I will eat your whole family... alive ! But not if you're an arab or a jew, because you may have diseases". I hate her and her family and every people voting for her SO MUCH !
